Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 24, 2026

515 Standard is built to collect as little as it needs and to be plain about what happens to it. Here's what we gather, how we use it, and the choices you have. See also our Terms & Conditions.

1.Who we are

515 Standard (the “Service”) is operated by Bridgewood Creative (“we,” “us,” “our”). This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use the Service, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. If you also run a business on the Service, see the “Business information” section below.

2.What we collect

We keep data collection to what the Service actually needs:

  • Email address, when you subscribe to the newsletter or claim an offer.
  • First name, only if you provide it.
  • Offer activity, which business's offer you claimed, when, the source (our widget or a site), the page URL you claimed from, your offer code, and whether and when you redeemed it.
  • Device and connection data, your IP address is processed to rate-limit and prevent abuse of our forms; we don't use it to build a profile of you.
  • Cookies, a small number of functional cookies (see “Cookies” below). We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

We do not knowingly collect payment card numbers, government IDs, precise location, or other sensitive categories of data from newsletter readers or offer claimants.

3.How we use your information

  • To send you the offer you claimed and the weekly 515 Standard newsletter.
  • To create, deliver, and validate your single-use offer passes.
  • To share the fact that you claimed an offer with the business that captured you, so they can recognize you as a customer (see next section).
  • To measure aggregate results for partner businesses (for example, how many people claimed or redeemed an offer).
  • To protect the Service, preventing fraud, abuse, and spam.
  • To respond to you when you contact us.

4.Claiming an offer shares your email with that business

This is important, so we're calling it out on its own: when you claim an offer, the business (“Partner”) that you claimed it from receives your email address as part of a customer list they own. That Partner may contact you directly about their business under their own privacy practices. We are not responsible for how a Partner uses information once it is shared with them. When you claim an offer, you also join the 515 Standard newsletter; you can unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time, but that does not remove you from a Partner's own records.

5.Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to run the Service:

  • Standard Partners, the business whose offer you claimed, as described above.
  • Kit (formerly ConvertKit), our email/newsletter platform, which stores subscribers and sends the newsletter.
  • Resend, delivers our transactional emails (your offer, reminders).
  • Supabase, our database and hosting for offer and contact records.
  • Vercel, hosts the website and processes requests.
  • Cal.com, powers the booking calendar on our For businesses page (only if you book a call).
  • Legal and safety, if required by law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of people or the Service.

These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments.

6.Cookies

The offer widget sets a small number of functional cookies in your browser (for example, to remember that you already claimed or dismissed an offer so it doesn't keep reappearing). These are not used for advertising or cross-site tracking. You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings; the widget will still work, it will just forget those preferences. If you book a call with us, the embedded Cal.com calendar is a third party that may set its own cookies under its own policy.

7.Your email choices

Every newsletter email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time. Some transactional messages tied to an action you took, like the offer you just claimed, may still be sent even after you unsubscribe from the newsletter.

8.Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and depending on where you live you may have additional rights (such as to know what we collect or to opt out of any “sale” of personal information, note that we do not sell it). To make a request, email hello@515standard.com and we'll respond within a reasonable time. Remember that unsubscribing or deleting your data with us does not delete records a Partner may keep independently.

9.Data retention

We keep your information for as long as needed to provide the Service and for legitimate business or legal purposes, for example, keeping a record that an offer was redeemed. When it is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it. You can request deletion at any time.

10.Security

We use reputable infrastructure providers and reasonable technical measures to protect your information, including access controls and encrypted connections. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your data protected.

11.Children

The Service is intended for adults (18 and older) and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

12.Business information

If you run a business on the Service, we also process the details you give us to set up your account, your business name, category, logo, and an owner or contact email, plus the aggregate performance data tied to your offer. We use this to operate your account, generate your reports, and feature you within the Service. Your handling of the customer emails we share with you is governed by our Terms and your own privacy obligations.

13.Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the latest version, and we'll post material changes here.
